- How do I know which
boats are available and when?
Select any one of the featured one design boats shown in the
listings above. The individual pages for each class have a
complete list of choices for you to make concerning your
sailing preferences and boat availability.
- How do I know if I am
qualified to charter one of these one design boats?
Select the Contact Us section and fill in the requested
information to receive a Sailing Resume. Once you receive
it, fill it out and return for review.
- If I am offering my boat
for charter or am hiring a boat for charter, how is the
insurance aspect of the arrangement handled?
First, go to the Contact Us page and ask for an explanation
in the text area, or you can also simply click on the Marine
Insurance logo that appears on this website. The experts at
Jack Martin & Associates handle all aspects of the
chartering arrangements. Ask for Morgan Wells.
- How do I know the boat I
am chartering will be race-ready?
All boats offered by OneDesignCharter.com for regatta
participation have been personally inspected by Robert
Taylor or one of his representatives. All owners offering
their boats for charter have to ensure their boats meet
race-ready standards as directed by the regatta and
particular one design class rules. Any pre- or post- regatta
maintenance is performed by Fast Track USA.
- Is there a formal
charter contract used?
You can request a copy of the Charter Boat Agreement by
requesting it from the Contact Us
section.
